Introducing Jam Jam and Quantus Trajecta
The Noise Engineering JamJamSilver at a glance
Jam Jam by Noise Engineering is a four-channel trigger/gate processor for modifying rhythmic material. There are a total of four channels that are changeable with one of three modes (Random, Clock Phase, Gate Delay). Each channel has its own control voltage input, which influences the edit control. Since the inputs are normalized, only one Gate or trigger is needed to output each output individually, depending on Patch.
In Random mode the module turns into four individually adjustable probability processors, which provide variety in a Patch.
In Clock Phase mode, the module adjusts the incoming clock phase based on the clock period. This can be used to adjust the timing of the sequencer, or to create sequences that drift out of sync and then return to sync via CV control.
The Gate Delay mode is useful to synchronize different sequencers outside the Four-to-the-Floor grid or to start envelopes later. Adjustments in the sub-millisecond range up to large delays of over 15 seconds are possible.
