With the 2017 version of the PRS SE 277, the guitar builder from Maryland presents a somewhat'different' semi-hollow. The semi-resonance guitar with 27.7" scale combines the warm acoustic character of the semi-resonance construction with the tight response of the extended scale length of 27.7". Of course, the SE 277 Semi-Hollow presents the finest woods in the usual PRS style, from curly maple in the top to the glued maple neck.

The PRS SE 277 Semi-Hollow is equipped with two PRS SE Soapbar Pickups. The P90 cartridges provide a differentiated sound image between single coil and humbucker with the right amount of output for a flexible setup. The body of the SE 277 Semi-Hollow, whose curly maple top on a mahogany body colours the sound profile with contoured mids and improved clarity, finally provides a striking acoustic character;
