The Pioneer HDJ-2000MK2 Black Professional DJ Headphones are the next generation of pro-DJ headphones. With features such as optimised audio quality, enhanced sound isolation, ultimate comfort and robust build, these headphones have everything a modern DJ needs.
The HDJ-2000MK2 has been mainly designed for electronic dance music. This music isn't exactly kind on headphones, so with 38 μm-thick diaphragm, 50 mm drivers, and precision-rolled voice coil to ensure outstanding resolution and a high-fidelity frequency response of 5 Hz to 30,000 Hz, they can accurately reproduce the music. Distortion that's normally caused from low end bass, is eliminated even at top volumes thanks to a robust build and the capacity for 3,500 mW of input.
Low-volume air chambers have been innovatively designed to provide maximum insulation, reducing external noise in the mid to low frequencies by 7 dB. This, combined with airtight stitching and the ear pads' damper makes for an ease of monitoring without the need to turn up the volume in loud clubs.
Comfort is a very important thing when it comes to headphones, and the HDJ-2000MK2 offers loads of it. A thinner, lightweight magnesium alloy is used for the headband and hanger to reduce pressure on the head. A super soft synthetic leather has been used on the ear pads, along with low-rebound memory foam. This ensures a snug fit that moulds itself to the wearers head. Each ear cup swivels by 90 degrees to support different styles of monitoring. The auto-return feature comes in handy for DJs who prefer on-the-shoulder monitoring. One-ear monitoring is a breeze with the headphones’ flexible headband, and a lock mechanism holds a DJ’s preferred style to stop unwanted movement during use.
The HDJ-2000MK2 has a 90 degree mini jack that gives it lower profile. This stops the headphones getting knocked or disconnected during performance. The cable attaches to the headphones via a removable mini-XLR connector, making them easy to store away or replace when damaged.

If you are thinking of getting these, then stop reading all of the reviews like i did, because its very hard to find a bad review, and trust me i cant find ANY. every time i read about the mk2's everyone says the build is amazing, the sound is amazing..etc... well when i got them i couldn't believe it, they are amazing headphones, you can hardly feel them on your head, and the sound give a great punch, isolation is not 100% but its better than the Sony MDRv700's i had, and this will replace them, buy them, you wont be disappointed! thank you Music Sore and thank you Pioneer!!
