The Rockett Immortal Echo is an American built compact echo/delay pedal from J.Rockett Audio Designs’ Limited Jet Series. Designed for a pure vintage character, it has a warm and musical sound. Mix, Repeat, Time and Tone controls give you all that is required to invoke classic analogue delay effects, from quick slap backs up to 680ms of long delay.
The main features of the Rockett Immortal Echo include:
A pretty straight forward delay unit in a compact package with a lovely bit of artwork on it - part of a limited edition set of four pedals. The important part of it, though, is a pedal that sounds as good and feels as solid as would be expected from J Rockett Audio. It has four controls, Mix, Repeats, Time and Tone, all of which are pretty self explanatory. The width of the repeats control is very reminiscent of the MP Deep Blue as, when everything is turned up full, you can hit a note, put your guitar on it's stand, go and make a cup of tea and when you get back, it will still be repeating except that, by now, the repeats will have a cacophonous racket to them!
As said, it is part of a four piece set along with a compressor, an overdrive and a booster - but curiously no reverb, and the four go together nicely and are very reasonably priced. Sadly, they are no longer being made, however if you can hoover up any of the last remaining ones gathering dust on someone's shelf you will not be disappointed.
