The active transmitter at a glance
The TC Electronic Teleport GLT enables lossless transmission of the guitar signal through long balanced cable runs and is the ideal solution for studio operators and large venues. The active Teleport Transmitter amplifies the incoming signal and converts it into a balanced signal, which is routed loss-free over cable lengths of up to 100 meters to the TC Electronic Teleport GLR. Once there, the signal is converted into an unbalanced Hi-Z signal that can be used for amplifiers and effects.
Application
The entire TELEPORT system can be set up in just a few minutes and is easy to use regardless of the size of the venue or studio. Simply connect the GLT (transmitter) and GLR (receiver) with a balanced XLR microphone cable, plug your guitar into the GLT, connect the output of the GLR to the input of your amplifier and TELEPORT buffers, equalizes and matches impedance - all by itself. The system is even fully transformer isolated for electrical isolation and extremely low noise with low harmonic and phase distortion.
The guitar signal transmitter is housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure with protective silicone rubber corners and a high quality XLR connector.
For a complete TC Electronic Teleport system the Teleport GLR is additionally needed!
