With the NiftyKEYZ, cre8audio introduces a Eurorack case with integrated keyboard, which is especially suitable for live performers and keyboard players. The Case offers a total of 112 TE space for modules and already contains quite a few functions for which you would need additional modules in other cases. The integrated keyboard has 49 normal sized keys, is velocity sensitive, generates aftertouch and is polyphonic playable. Polyphonic is also the MIDI CV/Gate interface, which listens to the keyboard, MIDI input and USB port. Four CV/Gate pairs can be tapped at the top of the cabinet to play modules/voices individually, monophonically, Unisono or polyphonically along with split zones. There are also control voltage outputs for aftertouch, velocity, modwheel/LFO, expression, clock and reset. The last two outputs could be used to synchronize a sequencer module. Experienced keyboard players can also look forward to inputs for expression and sustain pedals. The wide range of functions of the MIDI CV/Gate interface is rounded off by the multimode arpeggiator with several setting options, a simple but effective chord function, transposing the keyboard, Glide and Swing. Optionally to the modulation wheel, an LFO can be activated, which is always synchronized to Clock and has four waveforms to choose from. Additive to all the CV outputs, the front panel of the Nifty Key offers two active multiples for lossless distribution of control voltages and two mono audio outputs that convert the Eurorack level to line level. This is done on the front with a small jack and in parallel on the rear with a large jack; this way you are more flexible with the connection to the other equipment in different setups. A signal is also extracted from the two audio outputs for the headphones, which can also be connected on the rear. The level for the headphones can be adjusted separately.
