Input section:
To be prepared to any event there are many inputs for your instruments, vocals, external sources and so on. Here is a quick overview:
9 Mic-Inputs: Any microphone can be plugged in (48V Phantom Power button for condenser mics built in) plus the first two inputs support a "Wireless-ready"connection with all Behriner Wireless-Systems (optional)
6 TRS inputs: 4 of the 6 audio jacks can be used with Hi-Z-Signals.
3 Stereo TRS inputs: Optimal solution for stereosounds from Keyboards, Synths etc.
Stereocinch input: Here you can use external sources like CD-player etc.
Stereocinch output: If you need a recording of your signals this output is you friend.
To connect the mixer with your PA or stagemonitors you can find Speaker Twist connectors on the back.
Channelstrip:
If you look closely to the channelstrip there is something different usual mixers. Behringers PMP2000D works with "Invisible" mic preamps which are built in, that is: you only need to adjust the level of your channel control. But if there is still a signal which is too loud you can find a pad-switcher below up to 25 dB. So at first we don´t have a preamp control but an FX-send. The mixer delivers up to 25 presets for the most popular effects like delay and reverb. No matter if vocals, guitars, drums - the effects can be send to any channel! The next part of the strip is the 3-band equalizer for adjustments relating to low, mid and high frequencies. Perfect for optimizing your mix! Last but not least the monitor send control to make your own monitor mix on stage. Every channel has its own control and is send to the master volume control in the main section.
Main section
This section allows you to adjust two 9-band graphic EQs to get the best out of your summed mix out of you PA or/and stagemonitors. Moreover it´s possible to change between a stereo- , double mono- and a bridge-mono mode for different situations. Below the EQ there is another input - the aux - for additional signals from your smartphone or MP3-player for example and an input for a FX Footswitch.
Power
This mixer has a built in Class-D preamp for more efficiency and comes with many benefits: it´s a lightweight compared to Class-AB amps (eleminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks),it works very efficient relating to power consumption and it´s protecting the environment. And the most important thing: It delivers 2000 Watt!

Perfect replacement for my 10 year old Studio Studiomaster powered mixer. Does more than what I need it for but excellent sound quality and easy to use
I researched this Combo Amp/Mixer via viewing so many Youtube Videos, and was impressed, but I was still not SURE if it is what Behringer say in their Video. WOW. IT WAS EXACLTY WHAT THEY SAID: A Brilliant combo/amp with 'D' Technology and pleanty of inputs for instruments and other Wireless Mic and USB stick. Very powerful, and NO FEED BACK WHATSOEVER, in my case of using it. I plug a mic, electric and acoustic guitar, Keyboad, Digital Piano, and WOW, WOW, WOW. If only I wasn't over 70 years old, I would conquer the modern world with my sound of playing a Van Morrison song, and a Mark Knopfler song, and must not forget Eric Clapton's song, and STILL SOUND SO GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL. I always bought Behringer Mixers (Xenyx Models), and found that Behringer Products gave me VALUE FOR MONEY AT ALL TIMES. For my semi-professional needs I sound good if not equal or better than when using more expensive brands.
