BOSS VE-2 Vocal Harmonist

Multi-effect device for singer/songwriter

First class sound combined with simple operation, the VE-2 Vocal Harmonist offers the complete solution for all singers, especially for those who are accompanied by guitar. The battery operated effect pedal has everything you need to deliver fantastic sounds in studio quality, regardless of where you sing, on a huge concert stage or a street gig, practice sessions or just to play around with at home.

The VE-2 produces almost magically wonderful, harmonious vocals based on your singing. The Harmony function automatically adapts to the chords of the connected guitar, a preselected key, or a combination of both. Even if you have little or no experience with effect devices or music theory, it is so easy to create perfect harmonies in real time by selecting one of these 3 modes.

Beyond just harmonization, the VE-2 offers all effects to improve the tone of the voice, such as high-quality reverb / delay effects as well as an enhancer function to stabilize the volume or for pitch correction while singing. The integrated USB audio interface allows you to record using the VE-2 when connected to a computer.

Features:

  • Real-time vocal harmonies and high-quality effects in an affordable, easy-to-operate pedal
  • Auto Harmony function automatically detects chords played on a connected guitar and generates perfectly matching harmonies, even during mid-song key changes
  • Solo singers can create harmonies by manually setting the song key with a dedicated panel knob
  • Hybrid mode creates harmonies based on both guitar chord input and the manual key setting, perfect for songs where the guitar part transitions between rhythm and lead playing
  • 24 harmony types to choose from (12 one- and two-voice harmonies plus variations that provide even fuller sounds)
  • Friendly user interface that’s simple to use, even for vocalists not familiar with using effects
  • Easily dial up reverb and delay effects with a single knob
  • Enhance function controls dynamics and applies subtle pitch correction as you sing
  • Three memories for storing favorite settings
  • Runs on four AA-size batteries or optional PSA-series AC adapter
  • XLR mic input with phantom power (phantom power is available even when running on batteries)
