The Techno System from Erica Synths is a powerful combination of drum computer and synthesizer. If you find yourself musically at Detroit Techno, Chicago House or Acid, you will surely enjoy this combination a lot. Of course, the techno system also covers every other musical approach, including experimental approaches, and delights with its rich, high-quality sound.
The case offers space for the 16 contained modules on two rows of 104 TE each. The typical drum sounds such as bass drum, snare, tom, clap, hi-hats and cymbals already occupy ten trigger tracks on the drum sequencer, plus the dual sample player sample drum and the monophonic synth voice bass line. With the three different mixers in the system, everything can be easily mixed and rearranged. The modulator is a double (BPM-synchronizable) LFO with eight waveforms each; perfect for breathing life into rigid sounds! With Dual FX and Dual Drive you get countless possibilities to change single sounds or whole mixes extremely, to distort them or just to enrich them discreetly. The Link module is ideal for sending signals from the techno system to a mixing console or to the DAW.
The drum modules are pre-connected to the sequencer inside the case, which eliminates the need for cables and allows you to quickly gain routine, as the same drums are always triggered by the same tracks. This leaves more room to focus on patching the audio signals and modulations.
