Besides the real professional HiHat Fame HH-9000, there is a chrome drum rack, four tom pads (10"), one snare pad (12"), one enlarged kick pad (12"), three cymbal pads (12") and the Fame FP9000 bass drum pedal. All pads are equipped with modern mesh heads, these offer excellent feel and reduced volume.
Grammy Award-nominated, world-renowned drummer Simon Phillips developed the Fame Sounds
Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set: Professional sounds developed by Simon Phillips himself
Simon Phillips is one of the most famous and best drummers in the world, who plays technically and musically at the highest level and is considered an idol for many generations of drummers. The former Toto drummer has developed a sound pool of 116 drum and cymbal sounds exclusively for the Music Store Professional, recorded with his Tama Star Drumset. The various drum sounds consist of about 1100 individual samples, all created by Simon himself. The precise drum samples reproduce the world-famous Toto sound and give every drummer the possibility to play with professional sound even in their own four walls or in the rehearsal room. There are 8 pre-configured kits and 70 user kits available for free. In addition to the Simon Phillips drum sounds, the DD-ONE sound module also contains 77 other percussion sounds that were recorded in a Cologne recording studio and then processed and optimized for the XT module in the Music Store sound development department. The Simon Phillips sounds are of the highest quality, so the samples require more memory. The individual samples have longer sustain and high naturalness. The selection of sounds is, in contrast to the DD-ONE Professional XT more limited, but the module offers optimized sounds with high dynamics.
Chrome-plated rack for professional electric drummers
Equipped with sturdy hard rubber feet and four legs, the Fame drum rack cuts a fine figure in the rehearsal room, in the living room and on stage. The five drum pads have enough space to be placed on the rack in a versatile way. In addition, the two side panels can be continuously adjusted in angle, so the Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set can be adapted to different space conditions. The playing height can also be continuously varied overall, eg. when several drummers play at Set. The two crash cymbals are anchored with rack tube attachments in the drum rack, which promises additional playability. The entire rack is chrome-plated, which in combination with the black mesh heads provides a modern overall appearance.
Low-noise cymbal pads with realistic playing feel
All four cymbal pads on the Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set offer ultra-realistic playing feel thanks to a specially designed rubber playing surface. In addition to the game-like rebound, this also has the advantage of being particularly quietly responsive and ideal for playing drums in an apartment without disturbing the neighbors. The crash cymbals have two zones, so there are different sounds on the rim and playing surface. The ride cymbal even has three playing zones, and the crest can also be assigned an individual sound. All three cymbal pads on the Fame DD-ONE XT are continuously adjustable in height. Another professional feature is the choke function: The cymbals can be stopped by hand as with a conventional Set.
Fame HH-9000 HiHat stand in the Simon Phillips XT version
The 12" hihat pad is mounted on the professional stand Fame HH-9000. Unlike the normal Fame DD-ONE XT, the Simon Phillips version comes with a high-end stand. The HH9000 has three double-braced legs with large rubber feet, which guarantee a firm stand on almost any surface. To optimize the height of the hi-hat cymbals for each player, the stand can be adjusted from 78 to 100 cm. To regulate the kick resistance, the spring tension can be changed. Just like an acoustic set, the hi-hat can be opened and closed with the foot pedal. The double braced legs give the cymbal stand the stability and the necessary weight for absolutely secure standing. The large rubber feet prevent slipping, the spring tension is infinitely adjustable. A mechanical hi-hat with precise triggering (18 combinations) is unique in this price range. The chromed drum rack is also robustly constructed and serves experienced drummers with its excellent adjustment options.
Mesh Heads on all pads
The mesh heads have also been revised. From now on, the Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set offers an extremely realistic playing experience with excellent rebound and low volume development at a reasonable price. The robust nature of the heads also minimizes wear and tear. The improved black heads are finer woven, making the response sensitive and the feel structurally better.
Extra large: 12" Kick and snare / 10" tom pads on the Fame DD-ONE
The snare is 12", the four Tom pads 10", all pads are dual-zoned, ie. the edge creates an independent sound. Also new is the cross-stick function, the module recognizes the rim-click technique and reacts with a corresponding sound. Once again, the diameter of the Kick pad has been increased, this now measures a full 12 inches, so the pad reacts even more realistically in terms of rebound and head tension. Two crash cymbals with two zones each in 12" and a ride cymbal with even three zones offers the highest level of professionalism, especially in this price range.
Real-time recording and coach function
The Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set allows real-time recording with 2000 notes per song. Even the track of the AUX IN or a song from the USB device is recorded in parallel, so spectacular performances are recorded and processed in no time. An extensive coaching function helps with various programs to train the speed and timing.
Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set: Professional sounds from Los Angeles in the module
There are 116 sounds from Simon Phillips on the module, plus a selection of 77 percussion sounds. If you connect a USB stick, you have the option of loading up to 99 of your own WAV samples onto the module. In addition, the module can play up to 99 of its ownsequences/tracks via the USB memory function. 8 kits are pre-stored, but up to 70 additional custom kits can be created. The powerful effects palette offers rich possibilities to modify the sounds according to your own preferences, for example a reverb and a 4-band EQ are installed. The included pads connect to the bottom of the module via a convenient DB25 type. The built-in metronome (30-280 bpm), USB-MIDI, a MasterOut (R/L MONO), MIDI IN/OUT as well as an AUX IN round off the functional overall picture of the Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set harmoniously. Six stepless group faders control the volume of the individual pads, so you can create your own mix directly on the module. By default, the Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set can be used to control a DAW with the USB to MIDI function. The 64x128 pixel LCD display provides intuitive control structure and better overview.

Fame DD-ONE XT Simon Phillips E-Drum Set SPECIAL DEAL
My first ever e-drum set and boy am I surprised. Got it for a black friday price and for that price this is a very good set. Easy to put together and it has good quality all round. Good sounds. Have played it for a month now and nothing to complain about yet. I haven't explored the sound module yet but it seems like a good and easy to use module.
