Five-string electric bass with PowerSpan pickups and active electronics
The Ibanez SR305EB 5-String Electric Bass Guitar Weathered Black featuring a 5-piece Maple/Rosewood neck loaded with a Rosewood fretboard and flanked by 24 medium sized frets, as well as a solid mahogany body with two Powerspan Dual Coil Pickups. Manufactured from Mahogany, the body is strong and sturdy yet still offers a solid resonance that is further complimented and translated by Powerspan Dual pickups that deliver plenty of punch and bottom end when amplified.
The SR305EB comes with an Accu-Cast B120 Bridge that gives the strings a comfortable action and accurate intonation. The B120's extra-wide string slots can accommodate even the heaviest of gauges. This instrument offers an ideal middle ground between playability, tone and aesthetics, and is ideal for those looking for a quality bass without breaking the bank.

I had this bass, sold it but I am think of buying it again. Very well made and very good sound. Rarely goes out of tune. Nice, funky, rounded sound for wide range of genres.

I've never played bass before, but I play guitar. Play a bass was my dream. And my colleagues gifted me a certificate to buy a bass guitar. After research, I chose this one. It was a great combination of price, quality, and amount of strings.

An amazing instrument for the money. Low weight, excellent tones, smoothest and least sticky neck I've used on any guitar/bass in this price range. Had it for about 3 weeks now, can't find a fault on it. Sure, it doesn't sound quite like a bass 10 times the price, but I would gig with this any day.
