Semi-acoustic electric guitar with laminated curly maple body and two jazz humbuckers, including case
The J&D SH-40 Electric Guitar, Natural is a beautifully crafted guitar which produces amazing tone and playability.
The SH-40 features a very familiar semi-hollow, Double Cut-away maple body with a flamed maple top. The maple neck has been topped with a rosewood fingerboard.
The J&D SH-40 has two ceramic humbucker pickups which really help to define its unique vintage tone. A three-way pickup switch is also on show to give the user the option of using the pickups independently or obtaining a mixture of both. The guitar also has die-cast machine heads, gold-coloured hardware and has been finished in a natural effect with a stylish ‘F holes’ design.
The J&D SH-40 Electric Guitar, Natural features include:
A really well made instrument amazing really for this price point especially with a hard case. Set up well plays well and sounds really good. I would thoroughly recommend the guitar and the prompt efficient service of DV24/7 to any musician.

I could not believe that quality of this guitar, the fit & finish is extremely good & set up beautifully.i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great guitar at a fantastic price.
This guitar is great. Ok, one or two of the frets up the far end of the fingerboard are a bit jagged at the edges, the tone pots are a bit crackly and meh, and it could probably do with a professional setup at some point, but straight out of the (included in the price and well-made) case it was being used on recordings I was making for a client. It looks brilliant, and sounds pleasantly rich and warm through the small amp, Pod or plugins I was using. It stays in tune better than my mate’s exceedingly expensive Gibson 335, too! If, like me, you are in the market for a semi-acoustic 6 string but don’t have a lot of money to spend, this guitar is definitely worth considering.
Both pickups were out of alignment, the neck one needs the fitting pit to be cut out to allow the pickup to fit parallel. I can do this but I should not need to adjust a new guitar! Poor workmanship and lack of quality control.
