With the Jackson Pro Plus Series Rhoads RR24 Deep Black, the Jackson Pro Plus series receives an offshoot of the signature model of none other than Randy Rhoads, whose pioneering fretboard skills have had a lasting influence not only on Ozzy Osbourne, but also on numerous guitar gods such as Nuno Bettencourt, Yngwie Malmsteen and many more. The Rhoads RR24 skilfully continues Randy's legacy and offers numerous features for implementing rapid supersonic licks with surgical precision: genuine Seymour Duncan USA humbuckers, an original Floyd Rose tremolo system and its ergonomic design make the Rhoads RR24 the absolute weapon of choice for shredders and metal fans.
The Jackson Pro Plus Series Rhoads RR24 Deep Black offers the unbeatable combination of a slim 'Speed Neck' neck profile, powerful Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a practical Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo.
Classic Rhoads design made from okoumé
At the heart of the Jackson Pro Plus Series Rhoads RR24 is the body with its unmistakable V-style Rhoads design. This is made from resonant okoumé and consists of two body wings that are glued to the neck made from maple and walnut, which is continuous from headstock to strap pin. For unlimited playability, there is an ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets in jumbo format, which creates perfect playing conditions in every position with its compound radius increasing from 12" to 16".
Seymour Duncan USA Distortion Humbucker
In order to more than meet the high standards of a well-groomed shred axe, Jackson relies on two humbuckers from the US market leader. With a Seymour Duncan SH-6 Distortion humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan TB-6 distortion in the corresponding trembucker version on the bridge, the instrument not only provides sufficient output reserves for cultivated rock and metal sounds, but also offers a balanced Mix of both pickups when they are played in the middle position of the pickup selector switch.
Floyd Rose 1000 Series Locking Tremolo
A modern Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo is used on the Pro Plus Series Rhoads RR24 as a particularly popular feature among lead guitarists of the Hard 'n' Heavy faction. The ingenious system with double-locking construction has an additional clamp saddle so that all tremolo lever actions are reliable and tuning stable. As a result, the Jackson Pro Plus Series Rhoads RR24 is ready for even the wildest playing techniques such as dive bombs, squeals and much more at any time and without restrictions.
