The Mayones Noble King 5 AntiqueBlack Matt is a versatile five-string electric bass that is equipped with a juicy sound and practical features, providing versatile sound possibilities. The high-quality tonewoods offer practical handling, while the Hardware provides long-lasting use for studio or live applications. The Noble King carries two in-house Velvertrone Stark pickups, which deliver a rich bass sound that is suitable for a variety of genres between crisp pick attack and smooth mids. The highlight of the Noble King 5 is the active Musashi Nitōryū preamp, which can be switched on or off (active/passive) using the volume push/pull control.

Body and neck
The Mayones Noble King 5 consists of a swamp ash body, which is complemented by a top made of selected ash. The chic wood grain subtly shines out from under the matt antique black finish, making the E-Bass a real eye-catcher. The five-piece maple/wenge neck offers robust handling thanks to the neck-thru-body construction. In addition, the ebony fingerboard is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and a 20" fingerboard radius, which provides enough space for extroverted bass lines and demanding riffs, while the feel provides plenty of comfort thanks to the large fingerboard radius.

Pickups and electronics
The two built-in Velvertrone Stark pickups allow for a versatile sound that can be fine-tuned using the Mayones Musashi Nitōryū Preamp (3-band EQ). Anything between crisp mids, soft basses and articulate highs is possible, making the Noble King 5 ideal for all genres from Blues to funk and from rock to metal. The volume push/pull control is used to conveniently switch from active to passive, opening up a whole host of sound options for all areas of application.

Robust hardware
A Mayones X2 bridge provides a robust string action, while the Hipshot HB6Y Ultralite tuners ensure reliable tuning. The all-black Finish Hardware matches the Antique Black finish perfectly, while the Schaller S-Lock strap buttons provide an additional feature for a secure hold when things get wild in the rehearsal room or on stage.
