Top and back are each finished with a cream-colored binding and follow the ergonomically cut contours of the unmistakable Axis design.
Custom Wound DiMarzio Humbucker
Especially for the BFR Axis Double Trouble, New York-based pickup giant DiMarzio winds two tuned Custom Wound humbuckers that, with their powerful punch and elevated Output, know how to elicit the appropriate reserves for juicy rock sounds from any amplifier. Via the volume control of the Master Volume knob and the three switch positions of the Toggle Switch, the BFR Axis Double Trouble naturally also holds softer and articulate sounds for a variety of potential applications.
Premium hardware from Music Man and Schaller
The Music Man DoubleLocking tremolo system with locking saddle, which is part of the standard equipment of the Axis, is of course not missing on the Music Man BFR Axis Double Trouble. The sophisticated system allows pitch modulations in both directions without affecting the tuning stability of the Axis. The headstock features six M6 machine heads from the German manufacturer Schaller in a classic 4+2 arrangement, which have been the industry standard for high-quality premium machine heads for decades.
