Body & Neck
The mahogany body in the typical PRS design has a maple top with an elegant Shallow Violin Carve including curly maple veneer and forms the ergonomic silhouette of the popular Custom 24 with wide cutaways. For the left hand, on the other hand, the glued maple neck offers optimum playing characteristics across all 24 frets of its rosewood fingerboard thanks to its handy "Wide Thin" profile . Other classic PRS appointments include the balanced scale length of 635 mm and a 10" fingerboard radius that is oriented between vintage and modern.
PRS TCI "S humbucker & PRS hardware
Optimally matched to the PRS SE Custom 24-08 Turquoise in terms of capacitance and inductance, the PRS TCI "S" humbuckers deliver balanced clean and overdrive sounds that make every note heard with harmonic articulation. Each pickup has its own coil-split switch for transparent single-coil sounds, so that the electric guitar, in combination with the traditional 3-way circuit, offers a total of eight characterful tones. As a genuine electric guitar from PRS, the SE Custom 24-08 Turquoise naturally features a smooth PRS Designed tremolo and tuning-stable PRS Designed die-cast tuners.
The craftsmanship, finish, pure optic of this beautiful PRS guitar is of a very high standard. The sound is wonderful, and the fit for my small hands was unexpectedly good. I would definitely buy it again.
