The Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH Flat White combines the venerable J-Bass design with modern equipment to create a daring electric bass with a variable sound spectrum that delivers the right groove for every imaginable musical style. In terms of construction, Squier relies on an ash body in a cuddly offset design and a screwed maple with the familiar comfortable "C" profile. The bass amp also features two Squier SQR Ceramic Humbuckers and flexible active electronics for powerful, modern bass sounds. Last but not least, the Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH features indestructible hardware in the form of a 4-saddle standard bridge and precise mechanics.
For the construction of the Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass, Squier relies on the proven approach. Accordingly, the body is made of ash, while the neck and fingerboard are made of maple. The lively offset design in combination with the narrow "Modern C" neck profile and the 12" fingerboard radius offer optimum conditions for a high level of playing comfort.
The Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass is electrically converted by two Squier SQR Ceramic Humbuckers with stylish soapbar cabinets, whose modern hi-fi sound promises a powerful and balanced reproduction of every groove. For further tuning of the sound image, there is also an active 2-band tone control, which enables precise boosts in bass and treble, and a traditionally passive treble diaphragm.
In addition, the Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass offers high-quality hardware equipment with indestructible functionality. While the Squier 4-Saddle Standard Bridge on the body allows an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position, four Squier Open-Gear tuners on the headstock guarantee a precise and stable tuning.
