With the Wampler Tumnus Germanium Limited Edition, US effects tinkerer Brian Wampler presents a limited special series of his extremely popular Wampler Overdrive, which impresses with its unique vintage character. The Tumnus Germanium uses the Germanium diodes from which it takes its name, which Brian was able to secure in very limited quantities after a long search and, compared to the classic Tumnus, impresses with additional bite and a somewhat rougher character. The rest of the circuit follows the legendary model of the Tumnus and offers three controls for volume, gain and treble, while the circuit has no true bypass circuit in addition to the mystical original matching.
