Steps from Behringer is a CV generator that generates simple to complex modulations thanks to the flexible usability of its six stages. Without getting scientific: the module can perform many different functions at the same time. Each stage can be used individually, but two to six stages can also be linked together. For example, if you already have five stages in use for two functions, you can configure a single stage for a third function. When used as a multi-segment envelope, Steps is able to generate the following envelope shapes: AD, ADSR, ADHR, AHDSR, DADSR, DAHDSR, DASDHR, ADSRH and Trapezoid Generator (AHR). As a synchronized sequencer, a sequence can be 2-6 steps long; the shorter the sequence, the more steps remain for other tasks. A single segment can be used as a (synchronized) LFO, Gate Delay, (gated/clocked) Sample & Hold, Attack Envelope or Decay Envelope.
