An official "no frills" metal guitar, the E-II M-I Neck-Thru features a single EMG 81 humbucker at the bridge, promising an immediate sound with an offensive character. Powerful ceramic magnets and steel blade pole pieces combine with classic EMG Preamp to deliver a tight sound that cuts through the Mix with razor-sharp precision thanks to tight lows, biting and assertive mids, and well-measured toxicity in the highs, even with drop tunings and maximum gain on the amp. The EMG pickup is also controlled via a volume control.
