Comprehensive equalizer and dynamics control

With its eight separate processing sections, the Lil FrEQ stands out from conventional equalizers. Each section has its own bypass switch, allowing real-time A/B comparisons.

High-pass filter with precise frequency control

The high pass filter eliminates unwanted low frequencies with a steep slope and a special filter design that does not thin out frequencies above the cutoff frequency. Eight preset frequencies from 30 Hz to 330 Hz are available for selection, which are visualized via LED display.

Musical high and low shelving filters

These two shelving filters enable finely tuned sound shaping similar to the bass and treble controls of classic audio systems, but with far greater audiophile precision.

High-resolution parametric 4-band EQ

The Lil FrEQ offers four fully parametric equalizer sections(LF, Lo Mid, Hi Mid, HF) with individual gain, bandwidth and frequency controls.

Thanks to extremely low distortion values of less than 0.0007% THD, the sound remains crystal clear and transparent even at high levels.

High-quality de-esser & soft-knee limiter

The DS (Dynamic EQ) De-Esser is considered one of the most natural and powerful de-essers on the market.

It combines finely adjustable filters with a soft compressor circuit to effortlessly control excessive high frequencies or harsh transients. In addition, the de-esser can be used as a gentle soft-knee high-frequency limiter, rounding off the treble range and making the Lil FrEQ the first choice for vocals, snare drums and Bass.
