Epiphones Most Affordable Les Paul Electric Guitar!
With the Epiphone Les Paul SL, the Gibson Group subsidiary offers by far the best price-performance ratio in the LP range! Equipped with two in-house 650SCR and 700SCT single coils with ceramic magnets and a one-piece wraparound bridge, the Les Paul SL awakens the charm of classic Danos and LP Special models, while the original 1960 Slim Taper neck profile of the late Les Paul models offers the familiar Gibson handling from headstock to neck. Solid Epiphone Premium tuners ultimately ensure reliable tuning stability and easy tuning. The perfect electric guitar for beginners, hobbyists or as an inexpensive second guitar!
650SCR & 700SCT Ceramic Single Coils
The single coil version of the 650R and 700T humbuckers combine the taut sound of the ceramic magnet with a striking single coil character and deliver clear and direct trebles, appealing bass and a present midrange. Both pickups are selected by means of 3-way switches and can be connected together in the middle position. Last but not least, the Master Tone control provides full control over the transmitted height of the pickups.
Epiphone Wraparound & Premium Tuners
Epiphones Les Paul SL uses the classic concept of the one-piece wraparound bridge. The bridge, which is mounted on two pins, is compensated for each string and can be adjusted in terms of string height and intonation. At the other end of the headstock, in-house Epiphone Premium die-cast mechanisms ensure stable tunings, simple tuning and quick string changes.
This is almost certainly the cheapest electric guitar that is actually worth buying. Yes it’s cheap, insanely cheap so how do you judge craftsmanship on a guitar that costs 79 pounds? (strings on these instruments always need changing, and dv247 music store provided a free set!) Guitar plays beautifully, love the tone of the pick ups and looks great. Using it as a back up guitar for gigs! Awesome!
