Together with his band Mastodon, founded in 2000, Brent Hinds belongs to the spearhead of modern progressive metal. With his expressive style, he has played a decisive role in the sound of his band, and in 2007 he won the Golden Gods Award of the Metal Hammer magazine in the Best Shredder category.

In collaboration with Epiphone, Hinds has now developed a signature model based on the time-honored Flying V, which meets his high standards for sound and play comfort. Equipped with a mahogany body and neck, as well as a classy ebony fretboard, the Epiphone Brent Hinds Flying V has a warm basic feel in the best Epiphone tradition for powerful punch. The neck with a classic "1958 Rounded" profile provides a comfortable base for riffs and licks.

At the amplifier, the Brent Hinds Flying V Custom impresses you with the high quality pickups from Lace. The Hammer Claws were developed together with Brent Hinds and honour their name. With crisp attack, thick mids and controlled basses, they feel comfortable in all gain stages, transporting crystal clear arpeggios as well as burning riffs and complex solos. The pickups do not shy away from deep drop tunings wither, working with supreme precision. The pickups are selected via a 3-way toggle switch, individual volume control and a master tone control.

High-quality hardware in the form of the tried and tested LockTone Tune-O-Matic / Stopbar combination and indestructible Grover Rotomatics completes the hardware appointments of the Epiphone Limited Edition Brent Hinds Flying V Custom. Due to the finish in classic Silverburst, which is accentuated by elaborate bindings on the body, neck and head plate, this Flying V is also an aesthetic treat.
