The Fame FS18B First Step Junior Set is a solid complete set for drum beginners with cymbals, hardware and throne. The high-quality crafted mixed wood drum shells deliver clean and balanced sound with plenty of sustain and sufficient bass. A sturdy hardware package consisting of cymbal stand, hi hat stand, drum throne and bass drum pedal ensures firm footing and individual adjustment options. The heads rest neatly on the edges and are easy to tune. The bass drum head is pre-damped, which allows excellent control of the sound. Practice cymbals in the form of a 14" hi hat and an 18" crash ride cymbal promise excellent feel and classic cymbal sound. One of the highlights is the snare drum made of wood, which provides a dry and warm sound. A unique feature is also the matte aluminum: In addition to the modern, high-quality look, this results in a reduced transport weight. The modern aluminum element is also used for the stands, which creates a harmonious overall picture.
The advantage of the Fame First Step Series is that everything you need to play drums is included. Starting with the five-piece shell set with tom holders to a complete hardware package with throne to the cymbals, everything is directly included - and at the absolute lowest price. The cymbal stands and snare stand are double braced.
The throne can be comfortably adjusted in height. Bass drum pedal and hi-hat stand have smooth running characteristics and sturdy chain hoists. The tom holders can be quickly adjusted to the respective body size by means of a toothed segment filter. Made of sturdy materials and equipped with solid shell hardware, the Fame First Step drum set easily withstands even continuous use in schools and music schools. All stand legs have non-slip rubber feet, the bass drum can be fixed with the help of spikes. Even drum sticks are included in the delivery. In addition, there is also an assembly instruction DVD with many tips and tricks!
The drum shells of the Fame First Step series are all made of wood. A snare drum made of wood is a top feature in this price range, because unlike the snares made of metal, it has a warm and dry sound that is wonderfully controllable.
The other Fame First Step drums are also cleanly crafted and offer stable tuning and longevity thanks to the sturdy lugs and screws. All shells are covered with a high-gloss black foil in Piano Black, which perfectly round off the overall appearance.
