The cymbals are not really giggable but if you are starting out learning the drums, this set is really good.
When you get to gig level invest in some decent cymbals, do a few gigs with this kit then trade it in for a professional kit and away you go.
This was bought for a friend to start on so there was a limit on what to invest. This kit came up trumps, get an existing drum professional to set it up for you to get dampening right and you will have a good practice kit.
