The Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster Electric Guitar is an update to Fender's previous American Vintage '52 Telecaster, celebrating some of the most iconic and ground-breaking models from its 60 year history.
The Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster is a reissue of the 1952 model, referenced from original vintage models to make it as close as possible to the original. The American Vintage 52 Tele features a solid ash body in the legendary Telecaster body shape.
The maple neck and fingerboard have been carved as one piece of wood, providing incredible sustain. The neck has a 'U'-shape profile, a prime characteristic of the early 1950s Telecaster models and is finished in a new Fender Flash Coat lacquer.
The American Vintage '52 Tele is equipped with a pair of New American Vintage '52 Tele single-coil pickups, wound to period-correct specifications to provide classic Telecaster tones.
Improvements to the previous model include the updated, more accurate pickups as well as a slightly lighter Butterscotch Blonde finish and a 'barrel' switch tip with knurled chrome domed control knobs.
