Solid acoustic guitar in dreadnought construction including case

Thanks to its solid construction, the Ibanez AAD400CE-LGS Advanced Acoustic produces an extremely defined and powerful sound that unfolds very quickly and is long-lasting. Furthermore, the dreadnought acoustic guitar convinces with its outstanding quality and its fine and detailed workmanship. The thermo-treated neck guarantees the player a clean and comfortable grip in all frets, which can be accessed optimally in all positions with the help of an Advanced-Access-Cutaway. In addition, the in-house pickup system offers the possibility for professional performance on stage. A sturdy hardshell case is included.

Construction and woods

In order for the guitar to develop a defined sound, the manufacturer relies on a fully solid construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body. In addition, the X-M bracing used and the ultra-thin low-gloss finish support the vibration behaviour of the woods and thus ensure a wide-ranging and fast-responding tone. At the same time, a flat, five-piece mahogany neck with a low-oval profile and rounded fretboard edge allows for ideal fingering. The fingerboard is made of high-quality Macassar ebony and is adorned by fine maple inlays.

Hardware and Design

The 43mm wide nut and compensated bridge inlay are crafted from the finest bone and promise clean intonation throughout the 648 mm scale length. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners with an 18:1 ratio also ensure clean and accurate tuning of the 6 steel strings, which end in a Macassar ebony bridge. The outer appearance is dominated by a filigree wooden rosette, rounded Bindings of Macassar ebony and a tortoise pickguard.

Electronics

The extensive Ibanez AP11 pickup system transmits the acoustic sound to the amplifier unaltered and accurately and can be individually adjusted by means of a tone pot. In addition, the dual system includes a magnetic and a contact pickup, both of which have their own volume pot.
