The Ibanez AUT10-OPN Tenor ukulele not only impresses with its exceptional sound, but also with its unique design. As an instrument for beginners and advanced players alike, this Tenor ukulele in an attractive open-pored natural finish combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. With its striking construction of a body made from a solid hollowed block of paulownia, double sound holes and a laminated spruce top, the ukulele produces an outstanding acoustic sound that brings out every note and chord with unparalleled clarity. It also impresses with numerous ergonomic features for maximum playability and is furthermore supplied in a transport-friendly gig bag with backpack set.
The Ibanez AUT10-OPN tenor ukulele is an expression of quality, innovation and musical passion.
The heart of the ukulele is its solid body for an overwhelming sound resonance.
Solid body and stereo surround port
Unlike conventional guitars and ukuleles, which are usually made from separate elements for the top, back and sides, the Ibanez AU series offers a revolutionary design: the body is formed from a solid block of wood, which is artfully hollowed out to create the back and sides from a single piece. Finally, a top is added to complete the structure. This avant-garde construction method creates a characteristic sound that is further shaped by the selected tonewoods. For example, the laminated spruce top of the Ibanez AUT10-OPN produces a clear, overtone-rich sound, while the solid paulownia body adds an impressive resonance. Furthermore, the innovatively designed stereo surround port on both sides of the waist creates a special surround sound experience that allows musicians to control their sound with the utmost precision and effectiveness.
Special design features ensure perfect playability.
Increased playing comfort
The instrument also impresses across the board in terms of playability. The Okoume guitar neck offers remarkable stability and durability and, in combination with the smooth Purpleheart fingerboard and the 37 mm wide nut, ensures comfortable playability. Even complex chords and runs can be mastered with ease, while the special beveled cutaway and the rounded comfort heel simplify access to the high registers, making the Tenor ukulele easier to play and equally attractive for solos and advanced playing techniques. Both professionals and beginners can draw on the full range of possibilities here. Another highlight is the raised comfort armrest, which provides additional playability by reducing the pressure on the player's forearm and on the top, so that the latter is not affected in any way in its vibration behavior. Meanwhile, the die-cast tuners with black tuning wings round off the design and ensure precise and robust tuning.
