IBANEZ Soundgear SR300E-CCB Charred Champagne Burst Special Edition
Four-stringed electric bass with high playing comfort PowerSpan humbuckers and active electronics
The Ibanez Soundgear SR300E-CCB Charred Champagne Burst Special Edition combines incomparably high playing comfort with a modern, versatile sound spectrum in the best Soundgear tradition. While the streamlined body and slim neck contribute to the agile handling of the electric bass, the revised PowerSpan humbuckers in conjunction with the active 3-band tone control provide versatile sounds for every musical style.
The Special Edition of the SR300E is painted in striking Charred Champagne Burst.
Typical Soundgear playing comfort
The Ibanez SR300E-CCB Charred Champagne Burst with its mahogany body in the typical flowing soundgear design nestles against the player and thus offers a stable playing position. At the same time, the five-striped neck made of maple and rosewood lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the flat profile and allows even fast bass lines or complex runs to get out of your fingers easily.
Diversity of sound
The Ibanez SR300EB uses PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups specially developed for this bass, which, in combination with the active 3-band tone control, cover a variable sound spectrum. Whether transparent solo and jazz sounds, slick rock growl or a full boost from the deepest bass cellar, the four-string always has the right setting for every style.
Power Tap Switch
Another special feature of the Ibanez SR300EB is the Power Tap switch, which switches the coils from the powerful series connection to the Tap or PowerTap mode. While the former delivers authentic single coil sounds with typical clarity and tone definition, the latter supplements this sound image with a fundamental bass component.
High-quality hardware
The body of the Ibanez SR300E-CCB Charred Champagne Burst is based on the proven Accu-Cast B120 bridge, which contributes significantly to the long and evenly decaying sustain of the bass due to its solid construction. At the same time, 19 mm string spacing provides space for clean stops, even when gripped with heed, while the top-mounted ball ends make string changes much easier. The strings are held at the headstock by reliable Die Cast tuners, which guarantee a precise tuning.

I've never played bass before, but I play guitar. Play a bass was my dream. And my colleagues gifted me a certificate to buy a bass guitar. After research, I chose this one. It was a great combination of price, quality, and amount of strings. It came to me in a couple of days and when I tried it I've gone to nirvana b/c of sound. I'm not a specialist but I do recommend this bass.

An amazing instrument for the money. Low weight, excellent tones, smoothest and least sticky neck I've used on any guitar/bass in this price range. Had it for about 3 weeks now, can't find a fault on it. Sure, it doesn't sound quite like a bass 10 times the price, but I would gig with this any day.
