The Line 6 Variax JTV-69S is an extremely comprehensive modeling electric guitar that offers unprecedented sonic possibilities, especially when used in conjunction with Variax HD technology. Built in classic ST style, the instrument features an SSS pickup setup consisting of three Alnico single coils, while the L.R. Baggs Radiance Hex piezo pickup in the bridge of the Variax JTV-69S greatly expands the sound variety of conventional guitar amplifiers. If you use the HD modeling of Variax technology, the JTV-69S can not only change the sound of your guitar to other unusual sounds like a banjo, a resonator guitar or a 12-string, but also change the tuning in a matter of seconds. Last but not least, the Line 6 Variax JTV-69S comes with a padded noble gig bag.
The Line 6 Variax JTV-69S has a high recognition value both visually and haptically due to its classic construction and is composed of an alder body with a screwed-on maple neck and a glued-on ebony fingerboard. Thanks to the traditional 25.5" bore (648mm), the familiar ST feeling quickly comes to life, especially in bendings and pitch play, while the fully adjustable tremolo system designed by James Tyler together with a self-lubricating Graph Tech Black Tusq XL saddle allows pitch modulation without having to retune.
In addition to Alnico Vintage magnetic pickups wrapped to James Tyler's specifications, the Line 6 Variax JTV-69S features an L.R. Baggs Radiance Hex piezo pickup housed in the tremolo bridge for clear analog acoustic sounds on any amplifier. If you connect the JTV-69S with the Variax Workbench HD software, you can use the JTV-69S's tuning control to call up various tunings such as Drop D, DADGAD and Open Tunings without having to change tunings manually. Also sounds of different pickup setups, acoustic and exotic string instruments are no problem for the JTV-69S. All sounds and tunings can be customized using the Variax Workbench HD software.

La calidad de sonido es impresionante, la variedad a la hora de trabajar con ella y crear tus propias guitarras, y la posibilidad de cambiar de afinacion al vuelo la hacen una herrramienta impresionante tanto en estudio como en directo.
El unico defecto palpable que le veo es que el palm mute en las simulaciones no acava de convencer del todo (evidentemente cuando usamos las pastillas magneticas este problema pasa a desaparecer...)
Recomiendo totalmente su compra y si encima dispones del un POD HD no hay limites en la cantidad de sonidos de calidad que puedes llegar a sacar.
Has a good feel, and seems well made. The modelled sounds are a definite improvement on my old Variax 600. Although they aren't perfect e.g. the acoustics aren't totally convincing. If I had one reservation, the knob for changing the tunuings looks and feels a bit naff.
