Signature head for the cosmopolitan jazz bassist Richard Bona.
With the Markbass Litte Mark IV Ninja, the Italian amp company presents the next Generation of the popular Richard Bona Signature bass amp. At the request of the Cameroonian-born, New York-based jazz cosmopolitan, the Little Mark IV Ninja has a particularly warm sound that captures the character of the instrument and every detail of playing technique unadulterated. While the 1000 watt MPT power amp guarantees stage-ready volumes and excellent dynamic response, two EQ presets together with the active 4-band tone control and the old-school filter allow you to precisely adjust the Bass sound.
The Markbass Little Mark IV Ninja offers a clearly arranged control panel for precise and intuitive adjustment of the bass sound.
Precise adjustment options for the sound
To be able to adjust the bass sound optimally, Markbass and Richard Bona equip the Little Mark IV Ninja with extensive setting options. Two EQ presets give access to a neutral flat sound and a hi-fi sound with a clear mid-scoop. The carefully tuned active 4-bandtone control with +/- 16 dB Boost or cut per knob allows precise adjustment of the sound character in character-shaping frequency ranges. Last but not least, the old-school control offers the possibility to shift the sound character into velvety vintage realms by means of a high cut.
MPT power amplifier with bi-band limiter
The power amplifier of the Markbass Little Mark IV Ninja naturally relies on the Mark Proprietary Technology to combine enormous power reserves and a particularly transport-friendly Gewicht. Up to 1000 watts of power promise not only mark-shaking volume reserves, but also enormous headroom for lively dynamics. The innovative bi-band limiter also helps smooth out level peaks in the high and low frequency ranges separately, giving the Bass amp a natural feel and smooth sound. The balanced XLR line out with its own level control also allows the bass sound to be picked up directly for recording and live applications.
The rear panel of the Markbass Little Mark IV Ninja provides the serial effects path, the XLR line-out and the speaker connection.
