With the Martin D-X1E Mahogany, the traditional manufacturer from Nazareth, Pennsylvania has now started to rework their affordable Mexico series. This guitar is based on the former DX2MAE and comes with some new specs. The entire dreadnoughtbody is made of mahogany HPL (high pressure laminate) and produces a warm and rich sound. The extremely playable Stratabondneck with a 645 mm scale length and 44.45 mm wide nut gives the player easy access to all 20 frets. Additionally, the guitar is equipped with a Martin E-1 pickup system, which reproduces the sound naturally and unaltered. The new Martin Soft Gigbag comes included and completes the package perfectly.
