Electro-acoustic A-style mandolin for left-handers with matt black finish and including bag
The Ortega RMAE40SBK-L Lefthand Mandolin convinces with its high-quality workmanship, its powerful sound and versatility.
Woods and construction
Thanks to a spruce top on a maple body, the A-style model produces a powerful and midrange-rich sound that is quick and assertive thanks to a thin matte finish. A short maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard ensures a decidedly obliging playability in all 20 frets, which thanks to an interplay of a rosewood bridge and a 28 mm wide nut intonate cleanly in all positions.
Pickups and Hardware
An in-house pickup system makes stage performances possible and transports the sound unaltered via a piezo element to the amplifier. In addition, the tone can be individually adjusted via chrome volume and tone pots. In order to guarantee an easy tuning of the 8 strings fixed with loops, the manufacturer installs open, chrome-plated Ortega custom tuners. The instrument is rounded off with a sturdy bag, which is included.
