Ergonomic construction with extra longscale scale
The body of the Spector ReBop 5 DLX 40CS is made of alder and intensely flamed maple and has the arching that is typical of Spector basses, allowing the instrument to snuggle up comfortably to the bassist and assume a stable playing position. The fivefold screwed maple neck carries a rosewood fingerboard and lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the matt sealing. The extra long 35" scale (889 mm) also reproduces the low B-string with precise attack and harmonic balance.

The Spector ReBop 5 DLX 40CS is equipped with active EMG 40CS humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, which convince with their modern sound. Thanks to the ceramic magnet and steel poles, the powerful pickups have a well-balanced sound which, with rich attack in the bass range and smooth trebles, also harmoniously integrates the low B string into the sound. The sound can also be adjusted via the in-house Tone Pump 2-band active electronics.
