Signature electric guitar with graphic finish, Wilkinson single coil pickups and
To celebrate his "Blug plays Hendrix" Tour, the guitar master and Vintage® Endorser; Thomas Blug, has come up with a new instrument. "I wanted a guitar, with a look inspired by Jimi Hendrix, yet is still a right-handed guitar and has all the popular features of my Vintage V6MRHDX on board" says Thomas.
With these guidelines he let the guitar makers at Music & Sales; Knut Bausch and the Saarbrücker local; Daniel Hahn design a prototype out of his Vintage V6MRHDX Thomas Blug Signature. The guitar was so impressive that the makers at Vintage® immediately decided to begin producing the instrument in series - a Thomas Blug Signature Guitar with all the features that made the Vintage® V6MRTBG such a great success, in a "Summer of love" look and with a reversed headstock.

Vintage V6MRHDX Summer of love Thomas Blug Signature
Attractive looking product. Very nice vintage '61 Strat sound as expected, with few gems: Custom wiring, hum cancelling, treble bleed, nice vintage neck and fretwork. Reliable Wilkinson hardware. Nice round, and responsive sounding pickups. Warm, hippie-looking, just as "grandma's tablecloth" with cookies. Setup could be better. Easily corrected and adjusted.
Really nice tone for the money. Playablity is also better than most of the "strats". I'm very satisfied! Pick up work very well. The guitar feels very light compared to an alder body, the fretwork is very good, better than on the mexican strats. The Bukka switch is great. It really works! This is the second guitar that i buy from MusicStore and i'm so proud of it. I absolutely recommend it!
Out of the box this played great and the quality of the instrument is awesome for the price. Obviously there will be some small things that will be cost cutting measures, but the only things I have found are slightly messy fret ends and a small crack in the side of the fretboard wood. These don't effect the tone or playability and actually do accommodate the whole beat up look that the guitar is going for (the fret end can be sorted out by a pro anyway), but for those of you who may be picky about those things be aware, for me personally it's not in anyway a deal breaker.
Looks wise I would have preferred the non relic version they originally made of this but they don't make them any more and the beat up look is growing on me, I just would have liked to be the one doing the damage!
