The Duo EVO Antares is a plugin for automatic doubling of vocal recordings with adjustable variations for the doubling track. For a more realistic sound of the second voice, it is not only copied, but can be freely changed in pitch, timing, vibrato and even voice characteristics. The plugin is clearly arranged and limited to the most necessary functions. It is therefore aimed at (semi-)professional users and beginners in home recording who want to achieve time-efficient yet good results.
Doubling is one of the best and most popular techniques for adding depth and fullness to vocal recordings. With the Duo EVO offers Antares a particularly fast and simple tool to fully automatically generate a vocal track to realistically duplicate and thus improve the recording. In addition to options such as a controllable variation of pitch, vibrato and timing for a higher degree of realism, the plugin also includes "Throat Modelling" technology, which can be used to vary vocal characteristics in the doubled track. In this way, the second voice can either be audibly the same singer, or you deliberately make the doubling sound as if it had been sung by another person. The volume of the doubled track and the positioning in the stereo sound field are freely adjustable.
The processing is very simple and fully designed for the idea of temporal efficiency. Simply adjust the variation parameters to the desired values and let the software do the rest. It couldn't be easier or faster.
