Pizza? Yes cool! That's what you might think of Bastl Instruments' digital oscillator called Pizza, because it generates its sounds using FM synthesis and combines this with waveshaping, ring modulation and wavefolding, making it perfect for hybrid synthesis. The main oscillator is first modulated in the phase and processed with the Wavefolder if needed. The two modulation oscillators "Octave" and "Ratio" have their own audio outputs and are equipped with the waveforms sine, square and sawtooth. Both are responsible for various FM tasks and are included in ring modulation. The CTRL knob with its own control voltage input can be assigned to different functions to get deeper access to the oscillator core. Waveshaping, wavefolding, ring modulation, linear FM, exponential FM, octave, detune and modulator ratio selection are available here. Due to its digital nature, the module does not need extra tuning. This is done automatically, but you can also adjust it yourself if the situation requires it. A switchable quantizer conjures up accurate notes on the incoming control voltages.
