Cordoba F7 Flamenco

Traditional flat body flamenco guitar

The Cordoba F7 Flamenco convinces with its mid-rich and bright sound, which is produced very quickly and falls off just as quickly. In addition to the flat body of typical tonewoods, the fan bracing is largely responsible for the almost attack. The flat neck with wide fretboard gives the player plenty of room to comfortably master even extensive fingering patterns. In addition, the saddle and nut made of bone promise optimal intonation over the entire scale length, while the gold classical tuners allow easy and accurate tuning of the 6 nylon strings. A delicate Binding and an extensive soundhole rosette give the guitar an individual appearance, which is rounded off by the gauzy high-gloss finish in a very tasteful way.

Construction and woods

In order for the flamenco guitar to produce a defined and bright sound, the top is made of solid spruce. Laminated cypress back and sides enrich the sound with dry bass frequencies, for which the traditional Spanish instruments are known and loved. Therefore, the instrument is suitable for both fiery rhythms and nimble solos. Since the mahogany neck features a flat 'C' profile, the entire pau ferro fingerboard is easy and accommodating to all 19 frets.

Hardware and Design

The 52mm wide bone nut is perfectly matched to the corresponding saddle, so the instrument intonates cleanly over the entire 650mm scale length. For tuning the strings, gold-plated classical tuners with black buttons are inserted into the headstock, giving the guitar a classy touch. To protect it from scratches that can be caused by percussive playing, the top is equipped with a large transparent pickguard.
