Epiphone ES-339 Pro (Cherry) Archtop Electric Guitar
The Epiphone ES-339 Pro (Cherry) is a 6-string semi-hollow Electric Guitar with narrower, more manoeuvrable body contours designed to appeal to players of solid-body guitars. The Epiphones ES-339 Pro is based on the legendary Kalamazoo models and is intended as a faithful reconstruction with a laminated Maple body and a large centre block to reduce feedback. High-quality LockTone hardware and Epiphone Deluxe tuners help keep you in tune and the ES-339 Pro also comes equipped with the popular Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers for warm and juicy PAF sounds. The pick-ups also come with coil splitting push/pull potentiometers for additional single-coil sounds.
In the late 1950s, the newly introduced Epiphone ES-335 developed into one of the most popular guitar models and became a top-seller practically overnight. In addition to the already available solid-body guitars, the new semi-hollow models offered an unusual bell-like sound and quickly found itself in the hands of famous stars such as John Lee Hooker, Gary Moore and B.B. King.
The main features of the Epiphone ES-339 Pro (Cherry) include:
6-String Archtop Electric Guitar
Body: Laminated Maple
Neck: Mahogany
Fingerboard: Pau Ferro
Tuners: Epiphone Deluxe 18:1
Pick-Ups: Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro (Neck) & Alnico Classic Pro Plus (Bridge)

I've read about 100 reviews on this very guitar before purchasing. And after finally purchasing it, I can recommend this guitar. It is amazing for the price:
Mine had no problems with finish: no "4-year old painted f-holes", no sharp fret edges, no buzzing after minor adjustments, beautiful body with grain and neck with "flamy like" fret board. Pickups are not great but they're really good. I got the ooutput better with lowering the strings for better action. Coil splitting is an addition to some, but I don't really like it. Maybe because I don't need it.
Action and the strings that came with it were awful, but I tend to switch and adjust them in any guitar. String height is easily adjusted on the bridge-end, also truss rod adjustment works as it should.
The "E" -sign fell of the plate immediately after unpacking, but I prefer it this way. So this is plus too!
For the price it is very nice looking guitar which should have hard case, so I recommend to get that too.

I couldn't lower the action as mush as I wanted so I suppose a fret job is required but nevertheless it's a great guitar, it looks fabulous and it sounds great. Perfect to play Jazz, Blues, Rock and hard rock (perfect to play AC/DC!). Not too mentioned the price is great. I had a Gibson LP before but I prefer this one. Yes, I love it.
