Traditional Slash Les Paul
With the construction of the Slash Les Paul Standard Epiphone follows the guidelines established since the Fifties. In addition to the mahogany body, whose solid maple top is finished with a beautiful AAA-quality curly maple veneer, the electric guitar has a glued mahogany neck, whose strong slash Custom C profile promises comfortable playing characteristics on the 22-fret Indian Laurel fretboard.
Custom ProBucker Pickups with Orange Drops
To get the typical Slash tone out of the guitar amplifier, Epiphone equips the Slash LP Standard with Custom ProBucker pickups, which with their moderate output, vocal mids and airy sound development are completely in the tradition of the legendary PAF humbuckers. To customize the guitar sound, the Signature guitar is equipped with a classic 3-way shading, which promises particularly harmonious Treble roll-offs thanks to Orange Drop capacitors.
Epiphone Hardware
High-quality Epiphone hardware that promises long-lasting playing pleasure with unlimited reliability completes the Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard Anaconda Burst. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge locks firmly onto its pins and guarantees perfect intonation and string action adjustment. Behind the Graph Tech saddle, Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners on the Kalamazoo headstock ensure the guitar's precise and stable tuning action.
The guitar is excellent. The November Burst color is my favorite color, and it looks beautiful with the Flame maple top. The guitar is made excellently - without a fault. The sound of the pickup is excellent. I've had an Epiphone LP before, but the Slash version is better. The factory setup is very good. Neck Profile: Slash Custom C-Shape is great for me, Tuners: Epiphone Deluxe Keystones look beautiful and hold tune very well. The frets on the guitar should be polished a little better, but it's not a problem to do. Epiphone slash is best bay with Musik Store sale. I am very happy, I bought an excellent guitar at a discounted price.

After a year since I purchased it, the guitar plays, looks and feels almost like the real thing.
It is a Slash fan's dream guitar for less than the actual Gibson model so you can't go wrong with it as long as you are aware there is the actual Gibson costing 3 times more so there is, and always be a difference. As an example the thin veneer top used on the Epiphone whilst Gibson mounts a thick top, the different pick ups mounted, the woods used for each one's body....it is all adding and the difference is there.
Since it came out, there has been a lot of controversy regarding the pick ups but to me they sound perfectly fine though one star less on price/performance since it should have indeed mounted either duncans or actual gibson pickups. But then again, we would have to pay more for the guitar.
Some models I see at the time of writing this review on offer at Music Store so grab yours for less than I did when it came out. Will not regret it, I would of course have preferred to pay a bit less for it but do not regret buying it almost upon release and full price since it has given me a great year.
One thing I found not being in line with the guitar were the Epi-Strap locks, way too rough and really hard to push in but worse to pull out, so I exchanged these to black Schallers, and each time I hear the smooth click, I am comfortable and feel the guitar is secured but has a smooth mechanism.
A real treat both visually but most important, at a musical level. Would not mind having a wall with all the models
Also the case is totally sick, love it with the Tip Top Hat Skully! R'N'F'R' indeed Saul.
I love this guitar! I am a big fan of Slash, but could not afford the Gibson version. This Epiphone version is perfect. The November Burst colour is beautiful and the flame maple top is gorgeous, even if it's just a veneer! The neck profile is very comfortable and the guitar doesn't weigh too much. This makes it very easy to play for an extended period of time. I plan to upgrade the pickups later to Seymour Duncans, but the stock Epiphone ones do the job very well for a start. Very satisfied with the guitar

Foncez !
