The Mustang V Head V.2 has seventeen high-quality Fender and other amp models including five V2 ones, such as ’57 Twin and ‘60s Thrift. A full palette of effects including reverb, delay/echo, tremolo, phaser are available with additional V2 effects including Big Fuzz, Green Screamer and intelligent pitch shifting (with even more available via FREE Fender FUSE software). Other important features are the 100 onboard factory and user presets; two stereo XLR outputs, headphone output and auxiliary input; low-noise power amp platform; chromatic tuner; expression pedal capabilities; “Blackface” treatment and top-load front control panel.
The Mustang V has USB connectivity for high-quality, low-latency audio output and interfaces with the free Fender FUSE application for Mac and PC. Fender's FUSE application enables on-screen parameter control, deep editing, unlimited preset storage, online patch swapping and easy firmware upgrades (Fender FUSE community includes chat forums, preset trading, and additional content from Fender and artists). Other FREE software includes Ableton Live Lite Fender edition studio-quality recording software and AmpliTube Fender LE edition. The FREE software makes the Mustang V Head V2 ideal for guitarists new to digital recording.

Fender Mustang V V2 Head If you need an amp with all the options of a medium range fx processor built-in, then this is a good option. The quality of some effects is rather disappointing and the acess to the effect configuration is not very user-friendly at first, but with some work I got there and Boom! It sounds like another amp. So, if you have decided on this amp, prepare to read and adjust presets, but the final result may turn out to be awesome!
