The Fender Trapper Bass Distortion by the American company is a highly versatile distortion pedal for the electric bass that has been specifically matched to the wishes of modern bassists with its completely analogue circuit as well as two channels that can be used individually or in combination. Channel 1 of the Fender Trapper provides a juicy mid-gain crunch sound for punchy rock grooves and features controls for Gain, Tone and Level plus a fixed Blend Circuit that blends in parts of the clean signal to preserve clarity and punch. The Trapper's second channel increases the amount of gain for heavy metal grooves or expressive bass solos. Channel 2 also features controls for Gain, Tone and Level with an additional low pass filter that splits low frequencies from the distortion circuit so that they don't lose their power.
