For example, it is possible to control the "Stems" function in the Serato DJ Lite software, which means that song elements such as vocals and instrumental versions can be played in isolation from each other. This opens up even more possibilities for DJs to get creative or create completely new and custom versions of various favourite songs. The Beatmatch Guide and Beat Align option are helpful features, especially for beginners, and guide users to the perfect transition, even without prior knowledge.
More creative tools such as HotCue, Roll, FX and sample slots are added via 8 dedicated performance pads per DJ deck, which can be operated in four different modes. All of these tools give DJs plenty of options to intervene in song flows, put their own stamp on each song, or create their own mash-up mixes.
Made of metal, the DJControl Inpulse T7's motorized jogwheels are fitted with a slipmat and vinyl record to make the scratch experience feel authentic. The turntables reach their rated speed of 33 1/2 RPM in 1/10 of a second. With Serato DJ Pro software, the jog wheels can also be optionally set to 45 RPM.
The Stems option on the DJControl Inpulse T7 works with Serato DJ and DJUCED and separates a song into two individual tracks (vocals or instruments). With Stems you can easily create e.g. mashups or your own versions of various favorite songs.
The dedicated RGB pads of the DJControl Inpulse T7 offer several options to intervene in the flow of a song. The four modes are divided into hot cues, loops, stems or sample slots, giving users plenty of options to get creative with their music.
The mixer section of the DJControl Inpulse T7 is based on the common club standard and offers a gain control, 3-band EQ and a high/low-pass filter as well as additional effect paddles for each channel, which can be used to activate an effect briefly or permanently.
