Electro acoustic guitar in AEG design with cutaway
With the Ibanez AEG70-VVH Vintage Violin, the manufacturer has expanded their rich assortment of instruments with a compact acoustic guitar in AEG design with cutaway and pickup system, which delivers its warm sound to the best even when amplified. A fully laminated design consisting of a maple top and a sapele body produces a powerful tone that is clear and direct in both the mid and treble frequencies. Due to a flat Nyatoh neck with a walnut fingerboard, the acoustic guitar can be comfortably gripped in all frets, which, in combination with a generous Cutaway, are particularly easy to reach in the upper registers. The rough-grained fingerboard is 43 mm at the nut, so there's enough room to grip even complicated fingerings easily and cleanly.
Pickup and hardware
Equipped with an Ibanez AEQ TTS pickup system from the manufacturer, the Ibanez AEG70-VVH Vintage Violin is ideally suited for use on stage or in the rehearsal room and allows individual adjustment of the amplified sound via a 3-band equalizer. Supported by an integrated tuner, chrome-plated die-casttuners allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which intonate cleanly over the entire scale length of 634 mm with the help of a compensated bridge inlay. The instrument is rounded off with a vintage violin high-gloss finish, which gives the acoustic guitar a premium appearance.
