Jomox MBase 11 Drumsynthesizer

The Jomox M.Base 11 is a single voice analogue kick drum and bass drum sound module with 100 preset sounds and eight selectable waveforms.

The Mbase 11 features kick drum sounds from retro grooveboxes ranging from punchy x0x style hip hop kicks to deep fat trance style bass drums, there are 100 preset sounds onboard with 10 user storable locations. Each sound is fully tweak able with various controls such as tune, pitch, decay, noise and, EQ attack, and then more unusual controls such as the Harmonics control which adds some potentially aggressive overtones to the waveform, Pulse control which adds a click to the start of the kick sound.

The Jomox M.Base 11 features an x-trig input which allows the unit to be triggered from piezo based electronic drum pads, X-trig can also be triggered by incoming audio signals or if your microphone has the required output you could potentially control this using your voice.

The Mbase also features a pitch mode which opens up control the kick drum sound using a MIDI keyboard this will allow you to pitch the drum sound based on the key you are pressing on the MIDI controller, this can be quite useful for creating simple bass lines or creating variations in pitch for beat heavy music production.

The LFO on the M.Base 11 will modulate the pitch of the bass drum sound you are creating, you have control over the speed & depth of the LFO. You can sync the LFO speed over MIDI so your modulation speed can be in perfect time with your production or other MIDI based instruments.
