Active crossover with two effect loops and clean mix
The KMA Audio Machines Tyler Deluxe is a revised version of the extremely popular Tyler crossover. The Advanced Frequency Splitter offers significantly expanded possibilities for shaping innovative and experimental sounds for electric guitar or electric bass. In addition to the possibility of separating high and low-frequency ranges and providing them with their own effects, the Tyler Deluxe also offers the option of continuously mixing in the unprocessed input signal. In addition, three phase switches ensure compatibility with almost any effect device or amplifier.
High-pass and low-pass channel with individual effect loops
The heart of the KMA Machines Tyler Deluxe is without a doubt the high-pass and low-pass channels with individually adjustable cut-off frequency. They offer the possibility to split the incoming signal from Gitarre or bass into two frequency ranges, the ratio of which is freely selectable via the central mix control. The transformer-isolated effect loops also allow effects to be added individually to the high-pass and low-pass channels. For example, it is possible to compress the low end of an electric bass for punch, while a Fuzz or overdrive only colors the higher frequencies, or to octave the low frequencies of an electric guitar and use a Delay for the high frequencies.
Clean Mix, Phase Switch and Level Control
A highlight of the Tyler Deluxe's sound design is the ability to smoothly add the unprocessed, clean input signal using the Clean control. This allows you to preserve the definition of every note played, even in effects-heavy sound experiments. Separate cut switches also allow the clean signal to be completely removed from the high-pass and low-pass channels, creating sounds with one hundred percent effect content. To avoid problems with the phase of the signal and to ensure the compatibility of the Tyler Deluxe with almost any effect device or amp, the pedal comes with its own phase switches for each channel and a master phase switch. Last but not least, the active Level control can be used to boost the volume of the output of the KMA Audio Machines Tyler Deluxe by up to 12 dB.
