With the Orange Kongpressor, the British cult company presents a compressor effect pedal for electric guitar and electric bass that convinces with its organic, almost three-dimensional sound. The analog Class A circuit, which is based on opto-couplers and has an enormous headroom and a fine-resolution detail display due to the internal working voltage of 18 volts, is responsible for this. The controls for squash, attack and release control the degree of compression as well as application and decay behavior of the circuit, while Chime controls the treble content. The level control also allows the output signal to be raised by up to 12 dB.
