The RME ADI-2/4 Pro SE is the technically and functionally improved version of the successful ADI-2 Pro FS and combines in a compact 9.5" desktop format the functions USB audio interface, headphone amplifier, digital converter, phono preamp, equalizer and digital format converter in uncompromising high-end quality. It allows playback and recording of analog and digital audio sources via USB, ADAT, AES/EBU and S/PDIF in the classic PCM format up to 768kHz sample rate as well as in the high end formats DSD and DXD and additionally provides 2 independent headphone outputs. Its internal DSP provides highest quality EQing for room and sound correction, a professional crossfeed algorithm, phase corrected filtering for AD conversion as well as sample rate and digital audio conversion in real time. The ADI-2/4 Pro SE can be operated intuitively directly on the unit as well as in the software, and also offers unique features such as slow volume start-up in headphone mode, active jitter suppression (Steady Clock FS), automatic detection and assignment of all input sources, user-configurable soundness curves, and relay control for routing and reference level.
