The Sela Harmony Handpan D Kur d is a handmade handpan made of stainless steel with a gold finish. It has nine tones from the D Kurd scale tuned to A=440Hz. The tones are divided into the eight sound fields, which are arranged around the central note D. The Harmony Handpan is made of high quality stainless steel, which makes it very robust. Stainless steel is weatherproof. The material can withstand water, high humidity and even weak acids. This means that the instrument can be taken along without any problems and can also be played in the great outdoors without suffering any consequential damage. The bright and long-lasting sounds produced when playing have an ethereal/mysterious character and create a soothing atmosphere typical of Handpan.
