The Allegro Pro USB-C 8-Port PCIe card allows users to connect up to eight USB peripherals to their computer simultaneously. Each port offers a transfer speed of 10Gbps. The card supports SSDs, SSD RAIDs and hard disks with a power of up to 7.5 watts per port, eliminating the need for external power adapters.

The Sonnet card offers a full 10 Gbps bandwidth per port, enabled by each USB controller accessing two lanes of PCIe 3.0 bandwidth via a x8 PCIe 3.0 bridge chip. Sophisticated traffic management prevents bandwidth congestion, while intelligent power management and power supply ensure reliable operation even when multiple drives are connected.

Independent power regulation isolates each port to prevent cross-coupled power failures and increase safety, for example by preventing accidental shutdowns of other devices when a hard disk is connected.
